Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) is proud to be producing a new and original production of Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST uniquely conceived for our trademark theater-in-the-round. The beloved tale will delight New England audiences for three weeks starting Tuesday, July 11 and ending Sunday, July 30.
"I have wanted to produce Disney's Beauty and the Beast for many years and we were finally given the rights to produce it this season," said Bill Hanney, NSMT owner and producer. "We always look forward to the summer family show. It is our chance to make sure there is something very special for the whole family to enjoy together while also challenging our staff to create an unforgettable theatrical experience that will be remembered for years to come."
Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST was nominated for nine 1994 Tony Awards, including Best Musical . This eye-popping spectacle, based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, will be filled as dazzling production numbers.
The creative team for THE MUSIC MAN includes Michael Heitzman (Director), Lisa Shriver (Choreographer), Rick Fox(Music Direction), Stephen Dobay (Scenic Design), Sandra Pelletier (Costume Coordinator and Additional Costume Design),John Burkland (Lighting Design), Don Hanna (Sound Design),Gerard Kelly (Wig and Hair Design), Dena Olivieri (Makeup Design), Natalie A. Lynch (Production Stage Manager), Dakotah Wiley Horan (Assistant Stage Manager), and Luke Flood (Assistant Music Director). Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is produced for North Shore Music Theatre by Bill Hanney (Owner/Producer), Kevin P. Hill (Producing Artistic Director), and Tom Amos (Associate Producer).
Tickets for DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST arepriced starting from $57 - $82. Performances are July 11 - July 30, Evening performances are July 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 26 at 7:30pm and July 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29 at 8pm. Matinees will be at 2pm on July 12, 15, 16, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30. Kids 18 and under save 50% at all performances. North Shore Music Theatre will continue the 2017 musical season with Young Frankenstein (August 15 - 20), Evita (September 26 - October 8), 42nd Street (October 31 - November 19), and the season will conclude with the 27th annual production of A Christmas Carol starring David Coffee (December 8 - 23).
