John Finch, an animatorat work on Disney's Alice in Wonderland, wants Alice. When the great and outrageous Salvador Dali arrives at the studio to work on a short animated film (this part is actually true), life becomes curiouser and curiouser. Dali scandalizes the conservative Finch; Alice, coffee-bearing secretary, becomes Alice, girl down the rabbit hole; and Finch and Alice both experience the very surreal whimsies of the human heart.

1812 Productions to Celebrate Valentine's Day with HATE MAIL, 2/10

1812 Productions continues its '1812's Funny Valentine' tradition with a staged reading of Bill Corbett and Kira Obolensky's comedy two-hander Hate Mail. A perfect alernative to the flowers-and-chocolates set, Hate Mail will feature Philadelphia theatre favorites, and real-life married couple, Jennifer Childs and Scott Greer. Alex Bechtel joins the evening at the piano, performing a tongue-in-cheeck selection of Valentine's Day standards.
