Bill Connington, star of the short film ZOMBIE, attended the Macabre Faire Film Festival, where he was nominated for Best Actor, and the film was nominated for Best Short Film. This is the second year for the film fest which is held in Rockville, Long Island. Check out photos below!

Also in the cast are William Connell (The Coast of Utopia), Vivienne Cleary (Peace Warriors), Annmarie Benedict (Robeson), D.H. Johnson (Dodsworth), and Oliver Houser (Spring Awakening, Virginia Rep).

Ruby Froom made her debut at the sold-out Suzanne Vega/Duncan Sheik concert at Manhattan's famed Highline Ballroom. Vega's daughter, Froom is a Vocal Major at New York's famous LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts (setting of the film FAME). Bill Connington, star of the award-winning play ZOMBIE (scheduled to be shot as a feature film) attended the concert as well. ZOMBIE, the film based on Joyce Carol Oates' award-winning novella, continues on a roll. After winning 'Best Short Film (Horror)' at the Washington DC International Film Festival, the psychological horror film has won 'Best Short Dramatic Screenplay' for Bill Connington, and 'Best Supporting Actor' for Kelley Van Dilla. The psychological thriller was also nominated for 'Best Actor,' 'Best Director,' and 'Best Short Dramatic Film' at the Terror Film Festival, which was held on prestigious Rittenhouse Square in central Philadelphia.
