When award-winning cabaret singer SUZANNE CARRICO & Broadway actress JOI DANIELLE PRICE both found themselves "in the family way," they did the only thing they could. They decided to spend their summer with GREAT EXPECTATIONS, for three every Sundays, July 29 & August 5 & 12, at Metropolitan Room. They will be accompanied on this musical journey through 9 months of waiting, not by a midwife, but by Musical Director, DON REBIC, with Special Guest, TRACY STARK on the piano on August 5th & 12th.

Patti LuPone Plays Provincetown Art House Tonight, 7/4

Patti LuPone won her second Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, as well Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards, for her performance as Rose in the most recent Broadway production of Gypsy, and created the title role in Evita on Broadway with her now legendary performance, for which she won her first Tony and Drama Desk Awards. Today, July 4th and tomorrow, July 5th, she will make her Provincetown debut at The Art House, with Sirius/Radio star Seth Rudetsky at the piano, for 3 shows only.

Denis O'Hare to Play The Baker in Public Theater's INTO THE WOODS!

The Public Theater announced today that Tony Award winner Denis O'Hare has been cast as The Baker in Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's beloved musical INTO THE WOODS, directed by Timothy Sheader with co-direction by Liam Steel. INTO THE WOODS will be O'Hare's Shakespeare in the Park debut. Previews begin on Monday, July 23 at the Delacorte Theater and continue for five weeks through Saturday, August 25, with an official press opening on Thursday, August 9.
