Joseph V. Melillo, executive producer of the Brooklyn Academy Of Music, presents the 2013 Next Wave Festival. The festival runs from today, September 17 through December 22 and comprises opera, theater, music, and dance productions in the institution's three mainstage venues: the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House, the BAM Harvey Theater, and the BAM Richard B. Fisher Building.

The Coterie, a downtown New York-based music theater company, goes uptown to the Church of the Advent Hope (111 East 87th Street) tonight, September 9th at 8:00pm to present their latest concert of seven world premieres and past favorites celebrating the company's commitment to musical storytelling, from operatic arias and art song to indy rock jams and musical theater numbers.

On CHICAGO FIRE's upcoming episode, titled 'Ambition,' Mills (Charlie Barnett) finds himself the target of resentment from some colleagues when Severide (Taylor Kinney) supports his desire to join Squad. Tara (guest star Brooke Nevin), a paramedic candidate, joins Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Shay (Lauren German) on the job for a few shifts. Meanwhile, Shay comes to the aid of Cindy Herrmann (guest star Robyn Coffin), who suffers from pregnancy complications while her husband Christopher (David Eigenberg) is out of town. Elsewhere, Dawson and Casey (Jesse Spencer) draw closer as the grand opening of Molly's draws near, and Casey receives a surprise visit. Eamonn Walker also guest stars.
