Prologue Theatre Co. presents the final production of its 2011 - 2012 Season, Take Her to See the Maco Lights, by Bekah Brunstetter and directed by Prologue Theatre Artistic Director Margo Gray. Take Her to See the Maco Lights runs tonight, May 10 - June 2 at Luna Central (formerly Live Bait Theater), 3914 N. Clark St. Opening night is Saturday, May 12 at 8 p.m. Previews are tonight, May 10 and Friday, May 11 at 8:00 p.m. Performances are Thursdays - Saturdays at 8 p.m.

The Ambassador Theatre Group's Lyceum Theatre in London hosted a special drinks reception to mark the Centenary Year of Bram Stoker's death on Friday, April 20. Celebrated Dracula historian Elizabeth Miller and members of the Stoker family flew in from the US for the event, where members of the Dracula Society, in conjunction with The Lyceum Theatre, raised a toast to the celebrated writer in the venue where he wrote the infamous Dracula. Last night, February 14, Naked Angels celebrated its 25th anniversary as one of the most innovative theatre companies in New York with a spectacular Gala, including cocktails, an elegant dinner and skits written and performed by Naked Angels company members. Orchestra conductors develop distinctive styles as they shape and mold the sounds that their orchestras produce. Such is the case with Keith Lockhart. As the conductor of the famed Boston Pops orchestra, he has upheld what is affectionately known as 'The Pops Sound' and audiences expect it when they visit Symphony Hall. However, there was no doubt that Lockhart was in the orchestra pit wielding the baton during the Boston Lyric Opera's recent production of Georges Bizet's CARMEN at Beantown's theatre district.
