'Wolverine in tap shoes,' and far beyond, Hugh Jackman brought the bravado and belted with some dynamite divas as amiable emcee of the 2014 Tony Awards, while A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER was the big Best Musical winner of the evening. Plus, newly crowned Tony king Neil Patrick Harris got lucky in front of an audience of millions in full crazypants HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH drag, while Audra McDonald made history by winning her sixth statuette. And, Oz course, a WICKED 10th anniversary, too!

'A Gentleman's Guide To Love And Murder' (Mejor Direccion, Mejor Libreto, Mejor Vestuario y Mejor Musical) y 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' (Mejor Actor para Neil Patrick Harris, Mejor Actriz de reparto para Lena Hall, Mejor Iluminación y Mejor Revival de un musical) empatan, en una edicion facilmente olvidable.

As announced earlier this evening, Beowulf Boritt won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Play. BroadwayWorld's own Richard Ridge was in the press room to catch up with the winner on what the award means to him - hear what Boritt had to say below!

ACT ONE's Beowulf Boritt has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Play. Act One marks Boritt's LCT debut. His Broadway credits include The Scottsboro Boys (Tony nomination), Sondheim on Sondheim, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, LoveMusik, Rock of Ages, Chaplin, Bronx Bombers, Grace, The Two and Only.

Lincoln Center Theater's Tony Award-nominated production of ACT ONE, written and directed by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart, will be filmed for Live from Lincoln Center for an anticipated broadcast on PBS at a future date, it has just been announced. ACT ONE which is up for 5 Tony Awards this Sunday, including Best Play, runs through June 15 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

Look, we get it, whether due to budget or geography, you didn't see every show of the Broadway season, but that doesn't mean you can't be fully up-to-date for this Sunday's Tony Awards. Hodges and Hodges were on the scene at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts for the opening night of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. 'Joseph' is part of Broadway San Jose's current season and if you haven't been to this venue to take in a show, then you're missing something special. Their current offering stars American Idol alums (and newlyweds) Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young who were announced as the leads for the 2014 tour in March.

The Tony Awards, hosted by Hugh Jackman, will be broadcast in a live, three-hour ceremony from Radio City Music Hall, on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 8, 2014. Broadway San Jose has announced that the new 2014 national tour of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, will play May 27 - June 1, 2014 at The Center for the Performing Arts in San Jose.

Tony Yazbeck (Gypsy, A Chorus Line), Jay Armstrong Johnson (New York Philharmonic's Sweeney Todd, Hands On A Hardbody, Hair), and Clyde Alves (Bullets Over Broadway, Nice Work If You Can Get It) will play the roles of 'Gabey,' 'Chip,' and 'Ozzie' - the sailors on 24-hour shore leave who take on the Big Apple in the critically-acclaimed Broadway revival of ON THE TOWN, directed by John Rando (Tony Award for Urinetown) and choreographed by Joshua Bergasse (Emmy Award winner for 'Smash'). Yazbeck, Johnson, and Alves will reprise their performances from last summer's acclaimed Barrington Stage production. Yazbeck first thrilled audiences with his portrayal of 'Gabey' in John Rando's presentation of ON THE TOWN at City Center Encores in 2008.
