JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, one of the most enduring shows of all time, will play The Smith Center for the Performing Arts Jan. 20-25. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler, this new production features Broadway/television star Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray, Hair) as The Narrator and Broadway star Ace Young (Grease, Hair) as Joseph. The new Broadway revival of ON THE TOWN will be recorded today, November 3, for a two-disc cast album to be released by PS Classics. ON THE TOWN, which features a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, music by Leonard Bernstein, and is based on an idea by Jerome Robbins, is currently running at Broadway's Lyric Theatre (213 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036).
