BroadwayWorld has just learned that off-Broadway's Murder for Two will offically close on Sunday, June 29 at New World Stages. The show was previously scheduled to conclude its killer year-long run in New York on July 6, 2014. Ticket-holders for any performance from June 30-July 6 should contact their point of purchase to reschedule, or to request a refund.

Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers and commentators for media covering New York theatre announced today its award winners for the 2013-14 season in 24 categories.

Tickets for the new Broadway revival of ON THE TOWN - the musical-comedy love letter to New York City - are now available exclusively to Audience Rewards members through Sunday, May 11 (www.audiencerewards.com). Beginning Monday, May 12, tickets will be available for purchasewith a special pre-sale code sent to Ticketmaster customers. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, May 19 and will be available at Ticketmaster.com.

In honor of playwright Moss Hart, Lincoln Center Theater offers a "once in a lifetime" playwriting contest in conjunction with its Tony nominated play, Act One. ACT ONE, a play written and directed by James Lapine, from the autobiography by Moss Hart, is currently playing at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65th Street).

Though it was written before Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's successful Jesus Christ Superstar, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT caught on after Superstar's success as a kind of adjunct sequel. Family friend in tone and full of catchy musical numbers, it's a pleasant and upbeat show with considerable appeal. Oddly enough, the majority of the times I've seen this show the stars have been a married couple, and the current production playing at the Fox Theatre is no exception, with Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young headlining.

Paramount Hotel just hosted the Meet the Nominees Press Reception for the 2014 Tony Award nominees today, April 30th . The Scottsboro Boys, Kander and Ebb's (Cabaret, Chicago) award-winning and final musical, is to transfer to London's West End for a strictly limited season following its highly acclaimed and sold-out season at the Young Vic. The recipient of the prestigious Critics' Circle Award for Best Musical, this joyous and exhilarating production will preview at The Garrick Theatre from Saturday 4 October, ahead of a press night on Monday 20 October.

The Fabulous Fox Theatre has announced that the new 2014 national tour of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, will play today, April 29 - May 11 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis.

The Independent Presenters Network just announced the 2014-15 season tour dates for the national tour of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. Directed and choreographed by Tony® Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, the new tour launched at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, OH, on March 4, 2014.

The Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Producing Artistic Director Andre Bishop) production of Act One, a play written and directed by James Lapine from the autobiography by Moss Hart, just opened last night, April 17, at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre. The cast features Bob Ari, Bill Army, Will Brill, Laurel Casillo, Chuck Cooper, Santino Fontana, Steven Kaplan, Will LeBow, Mimi Lieber,Charlotte Maier, Noah Marlowe, Andrea Martin, Greg McFadden, Deborah Offner, Lance Roberts,Matthew Saldivar, Matthew Schechter, Tony Shalhoub, Jonathan Spivey, Wendy Rich Stetson, Bob Stillman and Amy Warren.
