Japan Society proudly presents a two-night-only limited engagement of Yoshi Oida's comic one-man play Interrogations: Words of the Zen Masters in its current Performing Arts Season spanning Fall 2010 through Spring 2011. Following on the heels of last year's sensational Il mondo della luna at the Hayden Planetarium, Gotham Chamber Opera announces that The New 42nd Street presents, at The New Victory Theater, a Gotham Chamber Opera and Tectonic Theater Project production in association with Blind Summit Theatre, Xavier Montsalvatge's El gato con botas (Puss in Boots), a stunning new production of the classic children's tale directed by Moisés Kaufman and conducted by Neal Goren, which will be presented in October 2010.

What do Walt Whitman, the rapture, and a gay bath house all have in common? Those are among the unusual subjects explored in the new gay opera Sextet, with music and libretto by San Diego composer Nicolas Reveles. Sextet sheds light on various aspects of gay desire: for community, for power, for acceptance, for family, for sex and for love. Diversionary Theatre will produce the world premiere of this new gay opera as part of its Queer Theatre-Taking Center Stage program, underwritten in part by The James Irvine Foundation. Sextet will be presented for only four performances between September 30-October 4.

Miami City Ballet's (MCB) milestone 25th Anniversary Season - perhaps the most exciting since its very first season - will feature a major Company Premiere in each of its four Programs - including Romeo and Juliet. Plus the return of the Opus One Orchestra at each of its Program I-IV performances. The 2010-2011 season in South Florida begins on October 15, 2010 and runs through May 1, 2011. The Company performs at Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County, at Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale; and at Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach.

Following the re-opening of the Elgar Room at the end of 2009 and the continued success of the ignite series, the Royal Albert Hall have collaborated with their neighbours at the Royal College of Music to offer an exciting new series of concerts. Launching at the beginning of April, these Classical Coffee Mornings give audiences the chance to listen to outstanding talent from the College as their students give Sunday morning classical recitals in the Hall's very own Elgar Room. With an inclusive offer that includes a hot drink and a pastry, this is the perfect opportunity to relax on a Sunday morning whilst listening to some truly exceptional musicians. Commencing on Sunday 4 April with the vocal and piano duo Paula Sides & Kumi Matsuo, this new series continues on select Sundays until June.
