At a celebration lunch was held at New York City's swanky Four Seasons Restaurant earlier this week, May 26, in honor of Chita Rivera's Tony nominated performance in Broadway's THE VISIT. Hosted by Liz Smith and Edgar Bronfman, Jr., a slew of special guests came to celebrate the Broadway icon. Edgar Bronfman Jr. and Liz Smith hosted a Luncheon to honor the Broadway Legend, and star of the 2015 Tony Award Nominated Musical The Visit, Chita Rivera, yesterday. Check out a look back below!

According to Page Six of the New York Post, one guest was so over the moon with Rivera's presence that he jumped into the restaurant's famous decorative pool. 

On Friday, June 12 from 7 to 10 p.m., The Jost Project will perform at Chris' Jazz Cafe and salute a legend in Philadelphia -- Composer Evan Solot.

This Sunday's guest on Backstage with Peter LeDonne was Broadway star Ben Vereen.  Talking is something Ben Vereen does a lot since the lecture circuit has become an integral part of Ben's career. Based on Boris Pasternak's Nobel Prize-winning 20th-century epic Russian masterpiece, Doctor Zhivago is directed by Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys), with a book by Michael Weller (Ragtime), music byLucy Simon (The Secret Garden), lyrics by Michael Korie (Grey Gardens) and Amy Powers (Ella Enchanted), and choreography by Kelly Devine (Rocky). It was the summer of 1988 when I first heard the melodious JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR score. After church, Mamma and Nanny T would make rounds to the local garage sales and the original cast album was one of their finds. I had a vintage stereo with a record player and this was my solace after church or rehearsal. When Bayou City Theatrics announced this show my excitement ranneth over and I was ready to head to the theatre to see what the creatives had for the American Stage.
