After three sold out SRO engagements at Upright Cabaret in Los Angeles, Eden Espinosa brings her hit solo debut to Joe's Pub in NYC

Upright Cabaret transformed into a winter wonderland of song last week as producers/hosts Chris Isaacson and Shane Scheel presented their 4th Annual HOLIDAY BLOWOUT 2008. This highly anticipated yearly event featured over 40 of Los Angeles' most talented performers, three Music Directors including Upright's Chris Bratten and guests Ben Toth and Gerald Sternbach, and welcomed over 700 patrons who came to be entertained on these four incredible evenings of cuisine, style and song.

Upright Cabaret producers/hosts Chris Isaacson and Shane Scheel proudly present Broadway star and Los Angeles native Eden Espinosa in her first solo effort entitled EDEN ESPINOSA - ME to be directed by Broadway & recording star Billy Porter with Ben Toth taking over Music Direction. During the last month of Wicked's run at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, where she is currently starring as Elphaba, Espinosa will take off the green to perform four solo concerts which will feature a different special guest each night. Alan Cumming and Alice Ripley lead a star-studded cast for Lance Horne's L.A. Debut on Fri & Sat, Sept 19-20, 2008. Upright Cabaret presented OPEN ALL NIGHT: The Songs of Lance Horne starring Alice Ripley, Jennifer Leigh Warren and Tracie Thoms with Tom Lowe and Julie Garnye and special guest Alan Cumming featuring the composer at the piano.

Spring Awakening star Lea Michele will making her Hollywood debut at Upright Cabaret in Mark's Restaurant (861 N. La Cienega Blvd) on August 15th, 2008. Michele will be staying in Hollywood after the concert to perform in the Les Miserables concert at the Hollywood Bowl. The concert will be directed by Richard Jay-Alexander (who also will be directing the Les Mis concert) with musical direction by Ben Toth.
