Dundalk Community Theatre, located at CCBC: The Community College of Baltimore County, 7200 Sollers Point Road, Baltimore, opens its 2009-2010 season with 'THE TAFFETAS: A Musical Journey through the fabulous 50's,' Oct. 30-Nov. 8, 2009.

It's 1950-something, and Kaye, Peggy, Cheryl & Donna, four singing sisters from Muncie, Indiana are making their national television singing debut.

James Hunnicutt, managing director of Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, knows a sure thing when he sees it. And he betting that Cockpit can't go wrong with two classics - the music of George and Ira Gershwin and an Agatha Christie mystery - slated as the closing productions for Cockpit's 37th season in the B Building at CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard.

Dundalk Community Theatre's production of 'The Full Monty' proves very entertaining, despite the weakness of the material.
