? Since Joe's Pub at The Public opened its doors in 1998, it has been a stomping ground for both the masterful legends and powerful young voices of music and the performing arts. This winter (November 2014-February 2015), Joe's welcomes a slate of emerging musicians, performers and artists including soulful French-Cuban twin sister duo Ibeyi, critically acclaimed performance artist Kalup Linzy, cabaret charmer Ali Grieb and more on the cusp of major careers. These artists, full lineup below, are the ones to watch.

On Sunday, October 5th, Tina Satter and Obie Award-winning theater company Half Straddle will host a benefit gala at The Kitchen to support the company's upcoming world premiere of ANCIENT LIVES (Jan. 2015 at The Kitchen). The party runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., Sunday, October 5, at The Kitchen, 12 West 19th Street (b/w 10 and 11 Ave.) Kimberly Clark, Bushwick's drag queen DJ with the mostess, emcees and plays throughout the evening.

As part of Joe's Pub at The Public's new artist-in-residence initiative, artist/entertainer Larry Krone will premiere a selection of photos from his forthcoming art book, LOOK BOOK. The book showcases the inspired creations of Larry Krone BRAND and the House of Larreon in photos by designer and photographer Todd Oldham. Running in conjunction with The Public Theater's 2014-15 season presentation of Bridget Everett's Rock Bottom, the exhibition will be on view from September 2-25 on The Public Theater's Philip and Janice Levin Foundation Mezzanine. There will be an opening night party today, September 2 at 5:30PM.

The third annual 'Night of A Thousand Judys' - presented by The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - featured Maude Maggart(Entertainment Weekly's 'Must List'), Tituss Burgess ('30 Rock,' Jersey Boys), Rachel Shukert (Starstruck), John Early ('30 Rock') and Becca Blackwell (Untitled Feminist Show). 'Night of A Thousand Judys' honors the legendary singer and actress Judy Garland with special skits, tributes and songs from her storied career. Check out photos from the concert below!

The third annual "Night of A Thousand Judys" - presented by The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - has added Maude Maggart (Entertainment Weekly's "Must List"), Tituss Burgess ("30 Rock," Jersey Boys), Rachel Shukert (Starstruck), John Early ("30 Rock") and Becca Blackwell (Untitled Feminist Show) to the lineup of talent for the show on Monday, June 17. The Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in New York). "Night of A Thousand Judys" will honor the legendary singer and actress Judy Garland with special skits, tributes and songs from her storied career. There will be a pre-show VIP reception at 6:30 PM and the show at 8:00 PM. The show is written and hosted by Justin Sayre and Lance Horneserves as music director, with choreography by Jason Wise and costumes by Sean Barrett.

Downtown fixture Cole Escola joins the cast of Michael Cyril Creighton's critically acclaimed web sitcom, JACK IN A BOX, which was a nominee for the 2012 Writers Guild of America Award for Outstanding Achievement in Writing Original New Media and was the winner of Best Web Series at the 2010 New York Television Festival. The series is in its fourth and final season.

Performance Space 122 is pleased to announce that three popular theater works from the contemporary performance festival COIL will extend. Young Jean Lee's Untitled Feminist Show, the TEAM's Mission Drift, and Temporary Distortion's Newyorkland will now run thru February 4, 2012. In this line-by-line reinvention of August Strindberg's classic MISS JULIE, writer and director Robert Cucuzza distills an essential tale of class and sexual power dynamics and transports it to modern-day Pittsburgh. Set during a failed car dealership's liquidation party, CATTYWAMPUS traces the rise and fall of Julie (Jillian Lauren), the owner's wife, as she tries to escape the flaccid clutch of her disinterested husband. She sets out to seduce the unsophisticated detailer, Donnie (D.J. Mendel), and gets much more than what she bargained for-a dance partner, a goofy playmate, a cuckold-maker, and a partner in crime. Determined that Donnie and his restored Ford Pinto are her escape hatch out of married misery, she makes a last ditch effort and gambles it all on his cracked plan to relocate to Florida. But in a world that is so economically out-of-whack, she finds that her dreams of escape are no match for what seems like a predetermined fate.
