Bay Street Theatre's 2013 Mainstage Season has begun with Lend Me a Tenor now showing through June 23. This hilarious Ken Ludwig comedy, under the direction of Don Stephenson, includes Judy Blazer, Scott Cote, Betsy DiLellio, Donna English, Nancy Johnston, Noah Plomgren, Steve Rosen and Roland Rusinek as its hilarious cast. LEND ME A TENOR, 'IRMA VEP', and 'FORUM' Set for Bay Street Theatre's 2013 Season

It's a brand new year at Bay Street Theatre and a brand new 22nd season has just been announced! Three hilarious shows have been chosen for this year's Mainstage Season. The shows are LEND ME A TENOR, by Ken Ludwig; directed by Don Stephenson (May 28 - June 23), THE MYSTERY OF IRMA VEP by Charles Ludlum; directed by Kenneth Elliott (July 2 - 28) and A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge; book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

Bay Street's Summer Benefit Bash Set for 7/20

The annual ROCK THE DOCK! SUMMER BENEFIT BASH on Saturday, July 20, will be hosted by the one and only Susan Lucci. Actor and Bay Street Board Member, Richard Kind, who most recently won the DRAMA DESK AWARD for his role on Broadway's THE BIG KNIFE, will be the evening's celebrity auctioneer. The gala is being held in memory of the Theatre's founder and former Artistic Director, Sybil Christopher. Terry Kinney to Direct GIBRALTAR at Irish Rep, Beg. 6/5

The Irish Repertory Theatre continues its award-winning 25th Anniversary Season with the Off-Broadway premiere of GIBRALTAR-Patrick Fitzgerald's two-character adaptation of James Joyce's 'Ulysses'-with previews set to begin June 5, prior to opening June 13 in the company's W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre (132 West 22nd Street). Terry Kinney directs.

MARTHA SPEAKS Plays Live at Bay Street Theatre Today

Bay Street Theatre, partnering with the Children's Museum of the East End (CMEE) will present 'MARTHA SPEAKS' live on stage at Bay Street Theatre today, May 11 at 11 am. The hugely popular children's animated series, MARTHA SPEAKS, is seen daily on PBS Kids and based on Susan Meddaugh's best-selling children's books, Martha the dog is given the power of speech after eating alphabet soup. This live presentation will have something to say to all ages.

LEND ME A TENOR Begins 5/18 at Bay Street Theatre

Bay Street Theatre begins the 2013 Mainstage Season with Lend Me a Tenor (May 28 - June 23). This hilarious Ken Ludwig comedy started rehearsals this week in New York City under the direction of Don Stephenson. The cast includes Judy Blazer, Scott Cote, Betsy DiLellio, Donna English, Nancy Johnston, Noah Plomgren, Steve Rosen and Roland Rusinek. Ticket prices are $59.50 and $69.50. Bay Street Theatre in honor of Steinbeck Weekend partnered up with Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) to present the 'Travels With Charley' Dog Walk this past Saturday, May 4. Daniel Gerroll, Patricia Kalember and Whoopi Goldberg Set for Guthrie Theatre Gala, 6/22

The Guthrie Theater today announced that actors Daniel Gerroll, Patricia Kalember and Whoopi Goldberg will appear in BEHOLD: A Gala Performance celebrating the Guthrie's 50th anniversary on June 22, 2013. BEHOLD marks a return to the Guthrie for Gerroll, who last appeared in Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing in the 2011-12 season. Kalember, a stage actress best-known for her roles on television's "Thirtysomething" and "Sisters," makes her Guthrie debut alongside husband Gerroll in the performance, which will be the first time the pair will perform together since a 2002 production of Blithe Spirit at the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, NY. Goldberg also returns to the signature thrust stage for the first time since her five-night Guthrie engagement in May of 1988.

TODAY's Jill Rappaport Hosts TRAVELS WITH CHARLEY to Benefit ARF and Bay Street Theatre Today

Bay Street Theatre is partnering with Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) in honoring Steinbeck Weekend by presenting the 'Travels With Charley' Dog Walk today, May 4 at 8:30 am. Jill Rappaport, TODAY show correspondent and award-winning animal advocate, serves as celebrity host along with Barbara Slifka as Honorary Chair. Dogs and their owners will start the walk at Haven's Beach. (Water will be available for both dogs and owners along the way.) The walk finishes at Bay Street Theatre, where there will be a 'Bagels and Bones' reception immediately after the walk. A Grand Prize will be given to the person that raises the most money.

This year the honorees were Hampton's Hometown Heroes including David Bray, Ana R. Daniel, Michael Grim and James Osburn. All four of the honorees support Bay Street as well as many other local businesses & non-profits in the Hampton's Community. The event is held Spring each year, not only to recognize outstanding patron involvement, but also to raise funds for its theatrical and educational programs.

David Bray, Ana R. Daniel and More Selected for Bay Street Theatre's All Star Honors Benefit Tonight

Bay Street Theatre announces its Second Annual Honors Benefit tonight, April 27 at East Hampton Point. This year the honorees are Hampton's Hometown Heroes include David Bray, Ana R. Daniel, Michael Grim and James Osburn. All four of the honorees support Bay Street as well as many other local businesses & non-profits in the Hampton's Community. The event starts with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and buffet followed by the presentation of awards, which will be kicked off by funny lady, Joy Behar, at 8pm.

PROOF Comes to Hershey Area Playhouse, 4/25-5/5

Hershey Area Playhouse will present the Pulitzer Prize winning play Proof in April. Proof is the story of a mathematician whose genius and madness wreaks havoc on his daughters and a former student. When the former student finds a revolutionary mathematical proof among the mathematician's papers, the characters become steeped in conflict as they struggle to determine who wrote the proof.

Stages Presents GREASE, 5/4 & 5

Stages, A Children's Theatre Workshop, Inc., presents Grease at the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor on Saturday, May 4 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm, and Sunday, May 5 at 2 pm.
