Religion, politics and theater collide when Bart DeLorenzo directs the Los Angeles premiere of Passion Play by Tony and two-time Pulitzer Prize nominee Sarah Ruhl, kicking off the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble's 45th Anniversary Season in a co-production with Evidence Room. Performances begin Jan. 25 at the Odyssey Theatre in West L.A. and continue through March 16.

Tickets go on sale Monday, December 16 for the New York premiere of Annapurna by Sharr White (The Snow Geese, The Other Place) directed by Bart DeLorenzo (Artistic Director, Evidence Room; Ivanov, Margo Veil, The Receptionist - Odyssey Theatre) and starring Megan Mullally ("Will & Grace") and Nick Offerman ("Parks and Recreation"). A limited engagement is slated Off-Broadway at The New Group, from April 13 - June 1. Official Opening Night takes place Monday, April 21 at 7:00pm, at The New Group @ Theatre Row (The Acorn Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street).

According to TV Line, Megan Mullally is heading to Sean Hayes' freshman NBC sitcom SEAN SAVES THE WORLD for a guest role on the penultimate episode, airing in February.

Due to demand, The New Group has announced a one-week extension for The Jacksonian, by Pulitzer Prize winner Beth Henley. Originally set to play a limited Off-Broadway engagement through December 15, this production now plays through Sunday, December 22. Directed by Tony Award winner Robert Falls, this New York premiere features Ed Harris, Glenne Headly, Amy Madigan, Bill Pullman and Juliet Brett. The Geffen Playhouse announces the remaining production in its 2013/2014 season will feature acclaimed actress Annette Bening performing a selection of monologues created and first performed by Ruth Draper. A pioneer in 20th century drama, Ruth Draper was described as, "the greatest individual performer that America has ever given."
