Qdos Entertainment today (23 December 2016) announces they will return to the London Palladium over the Festive Season in 2017 with Dick Whittington.

Matthew Bourne's acclaimed new production of THE RED SHOES had its Sadler's Wells press night this week and a special gala performance last night. The show runs until 29 January, 2017.

The McCallum Theatre announced today that the international sensation and Valley audience favorite band  Pink Martini will headline its annual fundraising gala to be held on Wednesday, November 30th,  with a special appearance by the "global gigastar," Dame Edna. Pink Martini returns to the McCallum for this special evening following a sold-out run of five performances in the 2015-2016 season.  Drawing inspiration from music from all over the world - brilliantly combining elements of classical, jazz and old-fashioned pop - Pink Martini's diverse repertoire is a blend influenced by Cole Porter and Duke Ellington, Tito Puente and Xavier Cugat, as well as Argentine tango, Brazilian samba, Italian folk, Asian and romantic Hollywood musicals of the 1940s and '50s. According to bandleader/pianist Thomas Lauderdale, "If the United Nations had a house band in 1962, Pink Martini would be that band."

Adelaide Festival Centre's Walk of Fame is one step closer to realisation, with the public and critics' star recipients now announced. Big names honoured include Barry Humphries, Geoffrey Rush, Cate Blanchett, Tim Minchin, Benedict Andrews, Sir Robert Helpmann, Dame Joan Sutherland, Olivia Newton-John, Guy Pearce, Hugo Weaving, Nick Cave and Billy Connolly.

Initial casting is announced today (26 May 2016) for Qdos Entertainment's London Palladium production of Cinderella.  The 32 strong cast will be led byPaul O'Grady as The Wicked Stepmother, Julian Clary as Dandini, Lee Mead as Prince Charming, Paul Zerdin as Buttons, Nigel Havers as Lord Chamberlain and Count Arthur Strong as Baron Hardup.  The roles of Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother and the Ugly Sisters will be announced soon.

Mervon Mehta, Executive Director of Performing Arts at The Royal Conservatory of Music, today announced the return engagement of cabaret star Meow Meow today, May 5, 2016, at 8 pm, as part of the Quiet Please, There's a Lady On Stage concert series. Qdos Entertainment, the world's biggest pantomime producer, today announces that for the first time in nearly three decades they are bringing pantomime 'home' to the magnificent London Palladium in the very heart of Theatreland. A magical production of the classic rags-to-riches tale Cinderella will be transformed into a breath-taking family extravaganza with glittering sets made especially for this iconic West End stage. The production will run from Friday 9 December 2016 until Sunday 15 January 2017.

Today Festival Director Fergus Linehan unveiled the 2016 Edinburgh International Festival programme. This year's International Festival runs from Friday 5 to Monday 29 August, welcoming 2,442 artists from 36 nations to perform in Scotland's capital city.
