Mervon Mehta, Executive Director of Performing Arts at The Royal Conservatory of Music, today announced the return engagement of cabaret star Meow Meow on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 8 pm, as part of the Quiet Please, There's a Lady On Stage concert series, is being re-scheduled to Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 8pm due to a scheduling conflict.

A decidedly un-Disney cabaret, Meow Meow's Little Mermaid is a sexy spectacle that questions the conventions of what constitutes a 'happy ending'. Joining Meow Meow on stage will be a procession of cardboard cut-out princes, led by real life prince of Australian entertainment, Hugh Sheridan (TV's Packed to the Rafters).

One of the hit shows from this year's Hayes Theatre Co Cabaret season is returning in 2016. Well known cabaret artist Phil Scott teamed up with director Terence O'Connell to create Reviewing The Situation, a celebration of the life of Lionel Bart.
Hot on the heels of a successful first leg, NOEL FIELDING, star of multi-award winning comedy duo The Mighty Boosh, has extended his live tour, AN EVENING WITH NOEL FIELDING. The tour will recommence in Aylesbury on 12 November, with a visit to the King's Theatre Glasgow on 15 November, wrapping up in Brighton on 13 December 2015.

Those dreams became realities, and over the past 25 years the Orchestra has worked with the likes of Barry Humphries and Michael Leunig, with surfers and cinematographers in The Reef; he's tackled new ventures such as ACO Underground, the ACO's electro-acoustic outfit; he's imported topnotch guest artists and directors to vary our musical diet; and embraced new technology in projects such asTimeline and ACO Virtual, all the while willing his audiences to join him on his adventures.

In the final night of Adelaide Cabaret Festival 2015, Artistic Director Barry Humphries took to the stage to announce he is handing over the role of Artistic Director to the creative talents of Ali McGregor and Eddie Perfect, who will be co-Artistic Directors for the Festival in 2016 and 2017.
