The National Tour of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, welcomes Hayden Milanes (Frankie Valli) and Adam Zelasko (Nick Massi) beginning December 21 in Philadelphia, PA. They will join a company that includes Nicolas Dromard (Tommy DeVito) and Jason Kappus(Bob Gaudio) as The Four Seasons, with Barry Anderson and Thomas Fiscella. The Philadelphia return engagement ofJERSEY BOYS is now playing through January 5 at the Forrest Theatre. Following Philadelphia, the company will move to Richmond, Virginia for a premiere engagement at the Landmark Theater January 7-19. A current tour schedule is below.

Barry Anderson and Mark Petty, the transatlantic songwriting duo known as Anderson & Petty, have releasd their debut songbook album entitled 'You Are Home: The Songs of Anderson & Petty' today, December 16th. Anderson & Petty co-produced the album with Dennis Michael Keefe of the record label Great White Wax. The Ohio State University School of Music will honor alumnus and internationally known composer Stephen Montague during the 2013 Contemporary Music Festival. Two different concerts will be presented on campus on Wednesday, November 13, and Thursday, November 14, in Weigel Hall Auditorium. A world premiere of a composition by Montague will be included in Columbus Symphony Orchestra concerts the following two evenings, November 15 and 16.

My first experience with JERSEY BOYS was the Broadway company's rousing performance at Broadway in Bryant Park last summer. After their fun, toe-tapping set, I was looking forward to seeing the 2nd National Tour company perform in Houston, TX. Last night, I took my seat for JERSEY BOYS anticipating hearing some timeless pop classics of yesteryear brought to dazzling life with an intriguing book that strings the hits together for a cohesive and moving story. However, after the 2 hour and 30 minute performance, I felt I was robbed of what should have been a completely entertaining and extravagant theatrical treat.

The Hershey engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning musical Jersey Boys broke the box office record at Hershey Theatre, grossing $1,282,369 for the week ending March 3, 2013. Jersey Boys is now the #1 attended and grossing show of all time for a week-long engagement at Hershey Theatre. This tops the previous record of $1,019,449 held by Spamalot. Jersey Boys began performances in Hershey on Tuesday, February 26 and played through Sunday, March 3.
