Announcing the 6th Annual Towne Street Theatre 10 Minute Play Festival 2013, 'The Black Experience : Past, Present, & Future'!

Following five seasons of sold-out concerts, KEYS TO THE FUTURE-New York's only festival of contemporary solo piano music-is back with 10 'front-rank soloists' (The New Yorker) who will perform 27 classical and jazz-inspired works by an aesthetically diverse group of modern masters and emerging composers over the course of three evenings.

In honor of Black History Month, Towne Street Theatre celebrates the diaspora of the black experience onstage with its 4th Annual Ten Minute Play Festival 'The Black Experience' - Colored, Negro, Black, African-American; a collection of our stories' will be performed at the Stella Adler Theater. Performance dates are February 3-6, 10-13, and 17-20; Thursday-Saturday performances are at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday performances are at 3:00 p.m.

This unique piano festival takes place Tuesday through Thursday, May 25, 26, and 27, at Le Poisson Rouge, 158 Bleecker Street between Sullivan and Thompson St. Each hour-long concert begins at 7:30pm; doors open at 6:30pm.
