DREAM CORP LLC returns for season 2 Sunday, October 21st at midnight on Adult Swim. Network greenlights Season 3 prior to new season premiere.

LeBron James and John Legend are set to executive produce The CW's female-led drama series inspired by the film “Lean on Me,” according to Variety. 

It's just been revealed that the new musical comedy Beetlejuice will open on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) in April 2019. Beetlejuice will begin Broadway previews in March 2019.

Eva Pope, Martin Marquez, Mark Armstrong, Ruth Ollman, Micah Balfour and Anna Andresen will join the previously announced Sharon Small in Christine Mary Dunford's newly adapted version of Lisa Genova's best-selling novel, STILL ALICE, directed by David Grindley.

The Baxter Dance Festival, the Western Cape's premier dance platform, returns to the Baxter for its 14th annual instalment with 32 works by 54 choreographers being performed over 10 days, from Thursday 4 October until Saturday 13 October 2018. Opening this year's festival is Rolex Mentor and Protege Laureate (2004) Junaid Jemal Sendi and Addisu Demissie Kifle from Destino Dance Company based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

A playful and poignant fairy tale for all ages, THE DRAGON GRISWYND by Carrie Robbins will have its world premier in the Community Space Theater at The Theater for the New City, Crystal Field (Artistic Director), as part of the 2018 Dream Up Festival, committed to wide-ranging, original theatrical visions. THE DRAGON GRISWYND is based on a story by RD Robbins. 

On Monday, November 5, 2018, the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) will host its annual New York Fall Gala at Cipriani 42ndStreet in New York City.  At this year's gala, EJAF Founder Sir Elton John and Chairman David Furnish will honor Ford Foundation President Darren Walker, philanthropist Patricia Hearst, and long-time advocate Joe McMillan, CEO and Chairman of DDG, with EJAF's Enduring Vision Award.  Nine-time Grammy Award Winning Singer, Songwriter Sheryl Crow will be the special musical guest, and Bryan Stevenson, Founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) and the new National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama, will be the featured speaker. CBS This Morning co-anchor and journalist Gayle King will host the event.

MT Shorts will celebrate its official launch, with a premiere screening of its first musical short film, Hey, Beautiful!, by award-winning composing team Nat Zegree and Eric Holmes at a one night only star-studded concert featuring selections from the duo's songbook at The Cutting Room on September 24th at 8PM.

Curio Theatre Company opens its 2018-2019 Season with an American classic. The company's 14th Season, begins with a beloved Arthur Miller work that audiences will see through a new lens. Curio is presenting Miller's All My Sons October 10-November 3. “Dancing with the Stars” is waltzing its way into its upcoming season, and the new celebrity cast is adding some glitzy bling to their wardrobe, breaking in their dancing shoes and readying themselves for their first dance on the ballroom floor, as the season kicks off MONDAY, SEPT. 24 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. This season's lineup of celebrity dancers includes an “American Idol” mentor, the first-ever blind contestant to take part in the show, an alumnus from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a Duke of Hazzard, an Olympic Gold medal-winning gymnast and a Bachelor Nation favorite, among others.

ABC, working with POPSUGAR, has teamed up with THNK1994 to celebrate the landmark 15 th season of “Grey's Anatomy” with a special weekend-long exhibit in West Hollywood. The exhibit will pay tribute to some of the most iconic moments throughout the show's journey while leaving fans energized for what is to come. “Grey's Anatomy” returns with a two-hour premiere on Thursday, Sept. 27 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

The University Musical Society (UMS) will present a dramatic reading of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, featuring stage and screen actor Alec Baldwin in the lead role of Willy Loman on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 8 pm in Ann Abor's Power Center (121 Fletcher St). Baldwin will perform alongside student and faculty actors and directors from the University of Michigan's Department of Theatre & Drama. The reading will mark Baldwin's first time in the role. The performance is currently sold out, but those interested in attending can call the UMS Ticket Office at 734.764.2538 to ask to be put on an interest list.

The American Shakespeare Center (ASC) will host a book signing of co-founder Dr. Ralph Alan Cohen's book 'ShakesFear and How to Cure It' on Wednesday, September 12 at 5:30pm at the Blackfriars Playhouse. At the signing, Professor Cohen, using scenes from As You Like It, will demonstrate how Shakespeare's language is our own. The event is open to all.
