Continuing its 40th Anniversary Season, Second Stage Theater has announced complete casting for the world premiere musical, SUPERHERO.

Looking for a show that will make you laugh, cry and remind you of the human element that shines within each of us? Look no further than The Boys Next Door. Fairview High School has taken this show on the road. The school's theater is being renovated so Director, Lanny Boyer asked local directors across Boulder if they would host the show. The BVSD theater community is a close-knit family and several schools were happy to support the staging of this production.

Netflix has acquired the Bert Marcus documentary, 'The American Meme.' The critically acclaimed film had its world premiere earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival. The Netflix Original Documentary will be released globally December 2018

On October 22, 2018 at 7 PM, the cast of BASTU! will take the stage in the lower level of Jebon Sushi and suffer punishments for the 1000th time. But this time, it will be in an effort to recreate their first performance which took place on Monday, December 9, 2010.

Michael B. Jordan is set to star in and produce, 'The Silver Bear,' according to Variety. The Lionsgate film is an adaptation of an assassin story. 

New York indie icon John Gallagher will be honored with a Lifetime Career Achievement Award on October 21 at the inaugural Cutting Room International Short Film Festival. A fixture on the New York scene for 40 years as a director, writer, producer, author, historian and educator, with a wide range of international filmmaking resources and relationships, and a highly regarded, encyclopedic knowledge of films and filmmaking, his track record is especially strong in discovering and mentoring new talent, both in front of and behind the camera.

When Shakespeare Theatre Company first announced their 2018/19 season, I was hesitant. The season didn't feel grand enough to serve as a proper goodbye to Michael Kahn, who has developed this company into an international institution. Having now seen their first production, The Comedy of Errors, and their spectacular fall gala, I think it is safe to say my hesitation was unfounded. STC is sending their founder off with quite a spectacular farewell.

The Arthur Miller Foundation's inaugural Arthur Miller Foundation Honors celebrating the power of public school arts education will be hosted by Alec Baldwin.  Event Co-Chairs include Rebecca Miller, Steven Spielberg & Kate Capshaw, Sandi Farkas, Janine & Michael Smith. Honors to take place on October 22, 2018 at City Winery in New York City. BlameItOnKway, Molly Burke, Sofie Dossi, Katie Angel, Annie LeBlanc, Elle Mills, Jason Nash, Trisha Paytas, Poppy, Andrea Russett, Alyson Stoner, Christine Sydelko and Nick Viall have been added as presenters. This spring, the internationally lauded dance troupe BalletBoyz will present the London premiere of Them/Us, an innovative double bill and a brand new collaboration from the company's own critically acclaimed dancers and the Olivier Award-winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon. A co-production with Sadler's Wells, Them/Us will arrive at the London venue from 5 to 9 March, 2019, with opening night for press on 6 March.
