On October 22, 2018 at 7 PM, the cast of BASTU! will take the stage in the lower level of Jebon Sushi and suffer punishments for the 1000th time. But this time, it will be in an effort to recreate their first performance which took place on Monday, December 9, 2010.

The cast will feature the originating Comedy Warriors of BASTU! - show creators Joe Tex, Jay Painter, and Eric Robinson along with Steve Grande (Company Manager, BATSU! Chicago). Together, they will take the stage with internationally recognized host Brian Walters, "merciless" co-host Noriko Sato (original cast member), and veteran company member Josh Goergen. The audience, those lucky few that were able to snag a coveted ticket to the sold out performance, will be transported back in time to 2010 and experience the earliest version of the show that has become an "East Village Sensation" (Asian Fusion).

Beyond Monday night's performance, a week long celebration will consist of 7 special performances featuring games, challenges, punishments, and characters reaching back through eight years of BATSU!

Included in this week long celebration is a "BATSU! Classic" performance on Friday, October 26th (7pm). See the cast that "held it down" for 5 years reunite for "one night only." Along with show cre- ators Joe, Jay, and Eric, the cast will include BATSU! NYC Company Manager and 7-year veteran of the show, Whit Baldwin (Merrily We Roll Along) and longtime "4th Warrior" Alexander L. Hill (Uninformed Traveler).

The company members performing in the 1000th Performance Week of BASTU! also include Frank Angelini, JC Cec- cherelli, Chihiro Cute-Beat, Brian Esposito, Nick Fang, Jonathan Gregg, Sumant Gupta, Scott Johnson, Chrissie Kahler, Peter Hargarten, Kenneth Haskins, Paris Kylil, William Kean, Maki Nakamura, Tim Neeser, Michael Puma, Jed Resnik, Kae Sato, Justin C. Schilling, Shodo, Nicholas Sotack, Michael Springthorpe, and Steve Zegers.

BATSU! is produced by Face Off Unlimited (FOU). Heather Shields (Bandstand, Puffs, Or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic) serves as General Manager.
