To celebrate the culmination of Oregon Shakespeare Festival's Latinx Play Project (LxPP), OSF will host a panel discussion featuring five veteran Latinx playwrights as they discuss the joys and challenges of working in professional theatre today, finding artistic home, and making work that speaks to the times we are in. Fully Sikh by Sukhjit Kaur Khalsa is a co-production between Black Swan and Barking Gecko Theatre and will have its world premiere from 10 to 27 October in the Studio Underground, State Theatre Centre of WA.

Single tickets for most individual shows performing at Popejoy Hall this season will go on sale Friday, September 27, 2019 at 10am. Tickets will be available for all Ovation Series productions, except The Book of Mormon. Currently, tickets are available to Swan Lake and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Geffen Playhouse today announced its selection of six local writers to participate in the second cycle of The Writers' Room, a forum for engagement and collaboration between Los Angeles playwrights. The participants for 2019/2020 are Boni B. Alvarez, Chloé Hung, Inda Craig-Galván, Juan José Alfonso, Ramiz Monsef and Ruby Rae Spiegel.

Black Swan State Theatre Company has brought Kate Mulvany and Anne-Louise Sarks' 'radical' contemporary adaptation of Medea to WA under the direction of Sally Richardson, in collaboration with WAYTCo. This adaptation tells the story of Medea through the eyes of her two boys in the lead-up to their tragedy. 

In LUCY IN THE SKY, Natalie Portman plays Lucy Cola, a strong woman whose determination and drive as an astronaut take her to space, where she's deeply moved by the transcendent experience of seeing her life from afar. The International Myeloma Foundation (IMF), the first and largest myeloma-specific foundation in the world, today revealed the all-star comic lineup for the IMF 13th Annual Comedy Celebration. Actor and comedian Ray Romano (The Irishman, Everybody Loves Raymond) returns for the 11th year to host an unforgettable night of laughter for an important cause. Joining Romano this year are some of the biggest names in comedy including Adam Carolla (The Adam Carolla Show, The Man Show), Demetri Martin (Demetri Martin: The Overthinker, We Bare Bears), Kevin Nealon (Man with a Plan, Hiking With Kevin), Patton Oswalt (Veronica Mars, A.P. Bio), Mary Lynn Rajskub (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, 24) and Amanda Seales (Insecure).

World-class violinists Augustin Hadelich, Tim Fain, and Francisco Fullana, all of whom perform on very rare violins, will join forces for 'Glorious Strings' at Club Helsinki Hudson on Sunday, October 6, at 7pm. The three will be accompanied by pianist Robert Koenig for the concert, a presentation of The Preservation League of NYS, along with the Clement & Karen Arrison Family Charitable Foundation & The Stradivari Society.

Spain-born, American-raised and UK-based singer/songwriter Sarah McQuaid is heading out on the road again for 12 solid weeks of touring, with 35 shows in the USA and 22 in the UK (57 concerts in total), starting on September 6th and winding up back in her adopted home county of Cornwall on November 30th.

The cast and creative team are now complete for Todd Allan, Peter B. Allen, Doug Katsaros, and Mathayu Warren-Lane's new musical ROSE'S WAR, an official selection to be premiered as part of the inaugural season of the RAVE Theater Festival. The production will open on August 16th at the LATEA Theater at the Clemente.
