Loft227 to Open 4th Season with THE GIANTS

Loft227 and Executive Producer Robin Sokoloff (THE LOST, SPOTLIGHT LIVE) launch a 4th season of environmental theatre in their Chelsea performance venue. Previous programming at Loft227 includes the beloved musical DANI GIRL (Exit, Pursued by a Bear), CHICK FLICK: THE MUSICAL (Daryl Roth), and LIVE FROM THE LOFT (EST Youngblood). Loft227's 2016 Season opens with THE GIANTS, PARTS ONE & TWO by Matthew Jellison, and will include THE LAST REQUEST OF CHARLES BEAUXNER, an immersive murder mystery by Matt Cox (PUFFS, KAPOW-I GOGO).

The Pearl Theatre Company and Gingold Theatre Group is currently presenting Shaw's Major Barbara, running through December 14, 2014. When the charming weapons-manufacturer Andrew Undershaft goes toe-to-toe with his passionate daughter Barbara, a Major in the Salvation Army, over his 'ill-gotten' fortune, it leads to the wager of the century. She is determined to save his soul-he is determined to open her eyes to a wider world. Their confrontation will knock their entire family's moral compass up, down, and sideways, never to be the same again.
