Marvell Repertory Theatre (Lenny Leibowitz, artistic director; Amy Estes, managing director) is NYC's only professional theatre - one of a handful in US - devoted exclusively to producing new and enduring works in rotating repertory. This exciting company is performing at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex (312 West 36th Street 1st Floor). Marvell Rep's inaugural season includes four magnificent, underperformed works from world literature. Starting-February 18th (opens 2/22) with the bill of "Nora", Ingmar Bergman's adaptation of Ibsen's A Doll's House; and "In the Shadow of the Glen", the darkly funny one-act by J.M. Synge. "Blood Wedding", by Federico Garcia Lorca begins March 5th (opens 3/11); followed by the NYC premiere of Joseph C. Landis' translation of "The Dybbuk" by S. Ansky on March 6th (opens 3/13)
