Sphinx Virtuosi, one of the country's most dynamic chamber ensembles, comprised of eighteen top Black and Latinx classical soloists from across the country, returns to Carnegie Hall on Friday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. As part of The Sphinx Organization—a Detroit-based national organization dedicated to transforming lives through the power of diversity in the arts—the self-conducted collective presents For Justice and Peace, a performance exploring the role both artists and citizens can play in propelling peace and positivity.

Accent DanceNYC,an education and performance initiative that champions learning and communication through dance, presents Project Connect: Dances to Unifyon August 17 as part of the New York City Department of Transportation's Summer Street's Dance Festival. The soul-stirring sound of tango in its most authentic form comes to The Soraya, brought directly to Los Angeles by Laura Escalada Piazzolla, the wife of the late maestro Astor Piazzolla, on Thursday, October 3 at 8pm.

Accent Dance NYC, an education and performance initiative that champions learning and communication through dance, will celebrate the history of Tango at Bronx Rising! Tribute to James Reese Europe & His Latin Connection at the Bronx Music Heritage Center on June 15, 2019. With a company of multi-disciplinary artists, Accent Dance NYC will present 3 couples in a series of duets and a dynamic solo to explain the roots of tango in an evening that will explore the genre of music, both historically and culturally.

The free New Jersey Symphony Orchestra concert on June 21 at 7:30 pm will be held in the auditorium of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School in Scotch Plains. The concert was originally scheduled to be held at Echo Lake Park in Mountainside, but the park grounds are too saturated from recent heavy rains to hold an outdoor event.

Internationally acclaimed violinist, Gregory Harrington, will perform at NYC's landmark Beacon Theatre on Saturday, June 1st at 8 pm (doors at 7 pm). Harrington will open for the Oscar-winning, Grammy-nominated artist Glen Hansard, who starred in the film, Once. Like Hansard, Harrington was born in Ireland and will also be releasing his fourth album this year. The album, titled Without You, is set to hit all digital music streaming sites on June 7, 2019.

DCINY (Distinguished Concerts International New York), presents ¡BUENA ONDA! MUSIC FROM SOUTH AMERICA, featuring two choral works by Venezuelan composer Alberto Grau and the world premiere of Argentinian composer Martin Palmeri's Gran Misa.  Led by guest conductors María Guinand from Venezuela and Saul Zaks from Argentina, with Kirsten Allegri, Mezzo-Soprano, Shawn Mlynek, Tenor, and André Chiang as Baritone.

Olivier Award-winning Ute Lemper will bring her one woman show Rendezvous with Marlene, celebrating the life of Marlene Dietrich, to Arcola Theatre. The show runs 14-19 May, and marks Ute Lemper's first major London performance since Cadogan Hall in 2017.
