DIRECTV CINEMA is giving customers exclusive access to experience the birth of American punk rock music with the film CBGB, directed by Randall Miller and starring Alan Rickman (Harry Potter franchise), Malin Akerman (Watchmen), Ashley Greene (Twilight franchise) and Rupert Grint (Harry Potterfranchise). The 2013 Young Hollywood Awards, which celebrates the best emerging young talent in film, music and television, has announced that Teen Cancer America is its official charity. Teen Cancer America assists hospitals nationwide in the development of cancer units designed to give patients ages 13-24 positive physical and emotional outlooks. Cody Simpson, along with Olympic skating gold medalist Tara Lipinski, are two of Teen Cancer America's celebrity ambassadors and are participating in the Awards show, which will air on Thursday, August 1 from 8 - 10 p.m. ET/PT on the CW Network and will emanate from the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, CA.

This year's honorees include: Lucy Hale ('Pretty Little Liars'), Kit Harington ('Game of Thrones'), Liam James ('The Way, Way Back'), Tatiana Maslany ('Orphan Black'), Kelly Osbourne ('Fashion Police') and AnnaSophia Robb ('The Carrie Diaries').

Disney Consumer Products today unveiled the Disney Royal Ball collection, the first ever line of Quinceañera gowns inspired by the inner qualities, personalities and stories of the Disney Princess characters. Recently, The Elisabeth Morrow School Orchestra was selected to perform the national anthem live in NYC at Pier 84 near The Intrepid for the Run10, feed 10 10 k Race down the West Side Highway. The Elisabeth Morrow Orchestra, which is the premier orchestra of the New Jersey independent school, was selected bycompetitive audition to win the spot to play the national anthem at this hugely attended race. Ashley Greene, star of the Twilight film-series, spoke at the event, which raised over $200,000 to feed New Yorkers in need.
