GALA Hispanic Theatre will premiere Héctor, The Electric Kid October 18 – November 1, 2025, in Washington, D.C. The bilingual musical for young audiences, by Cornelia Cody with music by Aldo Ortega, tells the story of a shy boy who discovers he is electric.
GALA Hispanic Theatre will present the U.S. premiere of Once Upon a Time…And Two Are Three! by acclaimed Dominican playwright Manuel Chapuseaux.

GALA Hispanic Theatre will continue its 49th season with the bilingual world premiere of Frida Libre, book and lyrics by acclaimed playwright Karen Zacarías and music by Deborah Wicks La Puma. This lively musical is directed by Elena Velasco and runs October 12 through October 26, 2024, at GALA Theatre.
