This Spring, Charles Court Opera makes a welcome return to Wilton’s with a sizzling production of Rossini’s comic masterpiece, The Barber of Seville. 

A new Scottish Opera production of Gilbert & Sullivan's The Gondoliers opens at London’s Hackney Empire on Wednesday 30 March, following a successful run in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness in 2021. This co-production with D'Oyly Carte Opera and State Opera South Australia also includes the chance to catch G&S’s rarely seen Utopia, Limited in a semi-staged concert performance on Friday 1 April.

The Scottish Opera has announced its upcoming lineup for this spring and summer, including two new films and plans for over 200 outdoor performances this summer, in alignment with the Scottish Government timeline for easing restrictions.

Scottish Opera has unveiled a programme of digital and live performance as part of its 2020/21 Winter activity, including filmed productions of Così fan tutte and Hansel and Gretel.

Scottish Opera presents a digital version of its hugely popular Opera Highlights, which will be released on October 25, World Opera Day, at 6pm.

On June 18, Scottish Opera is premiering The Narcissistic Fish, a new 12-minute film that is a collaboration between Scottish Opera's Composer in Residence Samuel Bordoli, Scottish poet and novelist Jenni Fagan (The Panopticon) and Scottish Opera's in-house filmmaker, Antonia Bain.

To help raise necessary operating funds for the Anderson Free Clinic, Arthur Bruce, of Arthur Bruce Dental, will be competing in the 2013 "Dancing for our Heroes" fundraising event, presented by the Greater Anderson Rotary Club on April 19 at the Civic Center of Anderson.
