Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announces additional artists for the 2014-2015 season at The Barns at Wolf Trap: folk-rock legend Art Garfunkel (March 29-30), Grammy award-winning African songstress Dobet Gnahoré (January 8), baroque-pop band San Fermin (January 30), folk favorite Schooner Fare(January 31) and vintage-pop singer-songwriter Kat Edmonson (February 28). Several opening acts were also added to the season, including Dom Flemons, opening for alt-rockers Civil Twilight (December 4).

DECADES OF DIVAS makes its world premiere ahead of a national tour Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at the Count Basie Theatre, 99 Monmouth St., Red Bank, NJ. Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets $59, $39, $29 and $19 on sale NOW at www.countbasietheatre.org or through the box office at (732) 842-9000.

Music Director and Conductor Michael Krajewski, the nationally recognized Pops conductor who performs with orchestras throughout the country, brings back his innovative programming and lighthearted approach with the 2014-2015 concert season of The Philly POPS. Encore Series, Inc, the presenter of The Philly POPS, is pleased to introduce this exciting series of concerts which begins in October, 2014 with the Era of ABBA, followed by Classic Soul. It continues with a salute to the American Songbook Then and Now and a visit to the movies with Epic Hollywood Soundtracks. The season ends with the Legends of Rock.

Concerts by singers Art Garfunkel and Chris Isaak have been added to the Gallo Center for the Arts' 2014-2015 season. Garfunkel's show is at 7:30 pm on Monday, November 10, while Isaak takes the stage at 8 pm on Friday November 28.

It's adult ed with a new kind of beat at The Ridgefield Playhouse when Emmy Award-winning songwriter/performer Kevin Briody teaches Songwriting on Thursdays for eight weeks - September 18 to November 6 -- 7:30-9:30 p.m. in The Ridgefield Playhouse Rehearsal Studio. As a thank you to the Milwaukee community for its support during the season, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra in partnership with Milwaukee County Parks presents a free outdoor concert on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in Cathedral Square Park, led by Associate Conductor Francesco Lecce-Chong. The MSO will also perform a free outdoor concert on Thursday, June 12, 2014 in Boerner Botanical Gardens, led by guest conductor Jeff Tyzik. Concerts are free and open to the public.

Last night New York's elite came together with music legends for Caron New York's 20th Annual Gala Fundraiser at the elegant Cipriani on 42nd in New York City, NY. The event raised over a million dollars, all of which will be used towards charity recovery services. Caron's own Harris Stratyner Ph.D , Honoree's Frankie Valli and Denise LeFrak Calicchio were joined by Paul Williams, James Lipton, David Johansen and comedianStewie Stone. The Goo Goo Dolls Johnny Rzeznik was also honored but at the last minute was unable to attend.

Singer/songwriter Ruth Carlin returns to the Laurie Beechman Theater this spring with an illuminating exploration of the eclectic repertoire of iconic folkie turned cabaret favorite, Judy Collins. 'A Light in the Window - Songs of Judy Collins.' Performances are tonight, May 17th at 7:30pm and June 12th at 7pm.
