Three Day Hangover is now performing 'Drunkle Vanya' an adaptation of Anton Chekhov's 'Uncle Vanya.' Adapted and directed by Lori Wolter Hudson, the show is a wholly entertaining piece of theater.

Tickets are now on sale for Bedlam Theatre company's productions of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull adapted by Anya Reiss and Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility adapted by Kate Hamill. 'Drunkle Vanya,' an adaptation of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, will be performed by Three Day Hangover at The Gin Mill on the Upper West Side from September 4th through September 18th.

Casting is announced today for a new version of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya by multiple award-winning playwright Anya Reiss, premiering on Wednesday 8 October at St. James Theatre. Directed by Russell Bolam, Reiss' adaptation of Chekhov's masterpiece of modern theatre reignites the piece for a 21st century audience, revealing the universal difficulties of impossible love, longing and regret.

Best-known for his roles in The Amazing Spider-Man, Royal Pains and The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Campbell Scott takes to the Weston Playhouse stage for Anton Chekhov's wistful comedy, Uncle Vanya. Scott is playing the role of Astrov, the forlorn visionary philosopher in this timeless play in which tempers flare and passions are ignited when an aging professor returns with his beautiful young wife to his family's country estate. In an interesting spin, the Weston production is set in contemporary Vermont. This last show of the season is sponsored by the Vermont Country Store and has a limited engagement, today, August 28 - September 6.

Tom Stoppard's Tony Award-winning play The Real Thing, directed by Sam Gold begins preview performances on Thursday, October 2, 2014 and opens officially on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42ndStreet).
