Porchlight Music Theatre announces the final mainstage production in its 20th Anniversary "Season of Sondheim," A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, April 17 - May 24, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, direction by Porchlight Artistic Director Michael Weber with music direction by Porchlight Artistic Associate Linda Madonia and choreography by Porchlight Artistic Associate Brenda Didier at Stage 773, 1225 W. NAFT to Present World Premiere Musical, WITCHES AMONG US, 10/3-11/7

New American Folk Theatre (NAFT) announced that it will present the world premiere of 'Witches Among Us', a musical by Chicagoans Rick Karlin (book) and Scott Free (music and lyrics), on October 3, at The Call, 1547 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.

DARK OF THE MOON to Open New American Folk Theatre's Second Season, 6/6-29

New American Folk Theatre begins its 2014 season with Dark of the Moon by Howard Richardson and William Berney. The play, directed by Anthony Whitaker and Jamal Howard, runs June 7 through June 29 (previews June 6) at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60622. St. Walter School & New American Folk Theatre Present WENDY & PETER This Weekend

The New American Folk Theatre and St. Walter School have joined together to present the world premiere of a new musical adaptation of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan. The family musical, written and directed by Anthony Whitaker and Jamal Howard, will perform this weekend, March 21-23 at St. Walter's Peterson Hall.

Cafe Cabaret Announces This Month's Performers- Including Roberta Miles and Special Guest Host G.P.A.

'Cafe Cabaret' CafeCabaret is an eclectic variety/cabaret show with a rotating cast of performers. With a new cast every month, the show is always fresh. From poignant to funny, mirth to disaster it all happens at Cafe Ballou. Cafe Ballou is located @ 939 N Western. The show begins @ 7pm. This month's Cafe Cabaret will be hosted by Roberta Miles and guest host GPA.

Three Cat Productions Announces SOLO CHICAGO Lineup

Three Cat Productions is excited to announce the lineup for its inaugural presentation of the SOLO Chicago festival. SOLO Chicago will feature individual performances by vocal artists, storytellers, and more. The festival will run Wednesdays through Saturdays, June 5-15, with performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Berger Park Coach House Theater, 6205 N. Sheridan Rd., Chicago, IL 60660.
