Joe's Pub at the Public has announced its nightly performances over the next couple weeks, January 6 -18. Details below!

This month, ?Joe's Pub at The Public presents showcases from a range of artists including writer Dan Hoyle to orchestral indie band Mother Falcon to downtown darling Erin Markey to a slew of French jazz musicians, as part of the Paris Jazz Club's French Quarter Festival, coinciding with APAP|NYC, the annual Association of Performing Artists Presenters conference. The performances will occur nightly from Thursday, January 8 through Tuesday, January 13.

Dallas favorite, Darius-Anthony Robinson (MULTIPLE REGIONAL AWARD WINNER), most notable for singing rousing 'Fabulous, Baby' numbers in Uptown Players in Dallas' annual fundraiser, 'Broadway Our Way' and for many other roles around the Metroplex and tours across the country, returns for his second solo concert, 'This Time: An Evening w/ Darius-Anthony... AGAIN' tonight, December 17th for a one-night-only engagement at The Uptown Theatre in Grand Prairie.

Uptown Players closes its 2013 season with Paul Rudnick's hysterical comedy, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told. The production runs December 5 through 15, 2013, at the Kalita Humphreys Theater.

Darius-Anthony Robinson, most notable for playing ex- con, Mitch Mahoney(et. al) in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee or singing "Big, Black Lady Stopping the Show" numbers in Uptown Players annual fundraiser, Broadway Our Way, or dancing (sometimes skating) up a storm in the ensembles and chorus, more recently Xanadu at WaterTower Theatre, Darius-Anthony Robinson, can be seen performing across the metroplex and country will make his long-awaited solo concert debut Dec. 18 for a one-night-only-performance engagement at Uptown Theatre in Grand Prairie.

Uptown Players presents the world premiere of Re-Designing Women, a new play by Jamie Morris, creator of The Facts Of Life: The Lost Episode, Mommie Queerest, and Silence of the Clams. This unauthorized parody of the popular 1980's sitcom runs April 5 through May 19, 2013 at the Rose Room Theater inside S4 Night Club on Cedar Springs.
