Waiting for Godot stars Nathan Lane and Bill Irwin are featured in New York magazine discussing the art of performing the Samuel Beckett classic.

Tomorrow, Nathan Lane, star of Roundabout Theatre Company's Waiting for Godot, will appear on ABC's 'Good Morning America' between 8AM-9AM on channel 7 and CBS' 'Late Show with David Letterman' between 11:35PM-12:35PM on channel 2.

Based on a recommendation by the OCC Executive Committee, Special Achievement Awards will be given to David Alvarez, Trent Kowalik, and Kiril Kulish for their performances in 'Billy Elliot the Musical' and an Outstanding Ensemble Performance Award will be bestowed to the full cast of 'The Norman Conquests' (Amelia Bullmore, Jessica Hynes, Stephen Mangan, Ben Miles, Paul Ritter and Amanda Root).

A cornerstone of twentieth century theatre, Waiting for Godot was Samuel Beckett's first professionally produced play. It premiered in Paris in 1953 and premiered on Broadway in 1956 at the John Golden Theatre. Beckett's language pioneered an expressionistic minimalism that captured the existentialism of post-World War II Europe.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) in association with Sonia Friedman Productions and Ostar Productions announces the dates and theatre for the American premiere of playwright Patrick Marber's drama After Miss Julie, directed by Mark Brokaw. John Glover will portray 'Lucky' in Roundabout Theatre Company's new Broadway production of Waiting for Godot, directed by Anthony Page and starring (in order of speaking) Nathan Lane (Estragon), Bill Irwin (Vladimir) and John Goodman (Pozzo). David Strathairn was previously announced to play 'Lucky.' He had to regretfully leave the production prior to rehearsals beginning.

On Tuesday, February 3rd, beloved star of stage and screen Nathan Lane, celebrated his birthday at The Cafe Carlyle in Manhattan by taking in a performance of Christine Ebersole's acclaimed cabaret concert. Ms. Ebersole sang 'Happy Birthday' to Mr. Lane in the style of Marilyn Monroe. Also in attendance at the event were Rupert Everett, Michael Blakemore, Rob Ashford, Chris Noth, Anne Kaufman Schneider (playwright George S. Kaufman's daughter), Scott Wittman and Andrea Martin.
