Due to the timing of the start of LEND ME A TENOR's preview performances and director Stanley Tucci's travel to and from The Academy Awards, the producers of the comedy said today that performances will now begin on March 12, one day later than previously announced. Mr. Tucci has been nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in 'The Lovely Bones.' Ticketholders for March 11 may exchange or return those tickets at the point of purchase.

Lend Me A Tenor starts previews at the Music Box Theater on March 11 and opens on April 4. Ken Ludwig's hilarious comedy stars Anthony LaPaglia, Tony Shalhoub, Justin Bartha, Brooke Adams, Mary Catherine Garrison, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Jay Klaitz, and Jan Maxwell, and is directed by Stanley Tucci. WhatsOnStage.com is reporting that a West End production of 'Lend Me a Tenor' may be in the works for fall of 2010. Casting is reportedly underway, with plans for a short run at the Plymouth prior to a potential transfer to the West End.
