Update: LAPD Confirms Reports that Brittany Murphy Has Died at Age 32

The Los Angeles Police Department is now confirming reports that actress Brittany Murphy has died at the age of 32 after going into full cardiac arrest early this morning.
TMZ had previously reported the actress' death. More details on Murphy's death are expected shortly.
Brittany Murphy had an early start in show business performing at the age of nine in a production of 'Les Miserables'. Her first Hollywood gig came mere years later, at the age of 14, when she starred in the series 'Drexell's Class'. Murphy also guest starred on several television series including 'Parker Lewis Can't Lose', 'Blossom', and 'Frasier', and had recurring roles on 'Sister, Sister', 'Party of Five', and 'Boy Meets World.'
Murphy's breakthrough role came in 1995 when she starred in the teen comedy 'Clueless' opposite Alicia Silverstone. Other movie credits include, 'Just Married', 'Girl, Interrupted', '8 Mile', 'Sin City', 'The Dead Girl', 'Uptown Girls', 'Riding in Cars with Boys', 'Don't Say a Word', Spun, 'Little Black Book', and 'Sin City'.
