Tony Shalhoub, about to make his return to Broadway in Ken Ludwig's LEND ME A TENOR, will submit himself to the panel on National Public Radio's popular program, Wait! Wait! Don't Tell Me! this weekend when he is a guest on the "Not My Job" portion of the oddly informative quiz show.

WWDTM! airs in New York on Saturday from 1-2 PM on 820 AM (WNYC AM) and on Sunday from 11AM - Noon on 93.9 FM (WNYC FM). Visit www.npr.org for the podcast.

In addition to hearing him talk about returning to Broadway in the screwball comedy, listeners can also hear Mr. Shalhoub discuss his brother's "Sha-poopie" invention, a device for dog owners.

Ken Ludwig's hilarious comedy LEND ME A TENOR starring Anthony LaPaglia, Tony Shalhoub, Justin Bartha, Brooke Adams, Mary Catherine Garrison, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Jay Klaitz, and Jan Maxwell, directed by Stanley Tucci, will open on Broadway on April 4, 2010 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Preview performances begin March 12.

Set in the 1930s, LEND ME A TENOR is a madcap screwball comedy that takes place when Tito Merelli, the fiery-tempered and world famous Italian superstar, arrives in Cleveland, Ohio to make his debut with the local opera and promptly goes missing. As Saunders, the show's presenter, conspires to cover for Tito's absence, placate his hot-blooded wife, and distract his most passionate fans, chaos on a truly operatic level ensues.
