The Amoralists are concluding the "Summer of The Amoralists" with The Cheaters Club, written and directed by Amoralists co-founder and resident playwright Derek Ahonen. This world premiere features a cast of 26 actors in a Southern-sized Savannah ghost story that creeps out of the shadows. Some of the best ways to collect art at reasonable prices is to make a habit of going to the many art sales aimed at benefitting an important arts organization. Usually these sales bring together a group of artists around the organization that are vested in the organization, the area or the scene. This Monday July 22 from 5-9pm you can sip some wine, have an hors d-oeuvre or two and meet and see works by some 50 artists that have congealed around the BRONXARTSSPACE.

At this year's ARTrageous Gala, more than 500 supporters gathered at Cipriani Wall Street to raise funds and awareness for the over 16,000 foster children in New York City. The money raised from the ARTrageous event benefits Edwin Gould Services for Children and Families (EGSCF). For more than 85 years, this non-profit organization has been serving and protecting children residing in foster care in New York City. Over the past decade ARTrageous has been a huge success, raising more than $15 million. Today, EGSCF is one of the top Foster Care Agencies in New York City.

Saturday night, November 19th, Melissa Errico made her long awaited return to solo concert-ing at the newly renovated (beautifully) Joe's Pub. The venue was packed with family, friends and fans who, pretty much, went wild when she walked up onto the stage. She was accompanied by an unbelieveably expert trio of musicians led by the legendary John Oddo. The evening's music program was extremely well chosen and beautifully performed and sung. Errico's patter, storytelling and anecdotal skills were also on show, in top form and wildly entertaining.

Bill Connington's ZOMBIE Flick Wins Big at the Terror Film Festival

ZOMBIE, the film based on Joyce Carol Oates' award-winning novella, continues on a roll. After winning 'Best Short Film (Horror)' at the Washington DC International Film Festival, the psychological horror film has won 'Best Short Dramatic Screenplay' for Bill Connington, and 'Best Supporting Actor' for Kelley Van Dilla. The psychological thriller was also nominated for 'Best Actor,' 'Best Director,' and 'Best Short Dramatic Film' at the Terror Film Festival, which was held on prestigious Rittenhouse Square in central Philadelphia.

Juliette Bennett, Bill Connington, and Anthony Haden-Guest, the stars of the film THE THORNHILLS OF PARK AVENUE appeared at the inaugural Gold Coast International Film Festival on June 4th on Long Island's famed Gold Coast, and at the NYC PictureStart Film Festival on June 6th in Manhattan. The film's production designer Nicola Walter also attended both screenings. GCIFF had a second screening on June 5.
