The first public presentation of Wilson's new show, called YES! THE MUSICAL, will be given a single showcase salon performance on Monday, March 5, at 8 PM -- one year and one day later from the day he started it -- at the Rose Nagelberg Theater at the Baruch Performing Arts Center on 25th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue. The production, with book, music and lyrics by Wilson, is being presented by The Theater at the Duke Ellington Center For The Arts, with Mercedes Ellington as director- choreographer.

This Saturday, November 29, the cast of EQUUS on Broadway will auction off the Lucky Brand jeans worn in the play by its young star Daniel Radcliffe as part of the company's campaign to raise money for the annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS fall fundraising drive. Following tomorrow's 2 p.m. matinee performance, audience members can bid for Mr. Radcliffe's costume jeans - autographed (live!) by Mr. Radcliffe - during a brief and merry onstage auction at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 W. 44 St.) where EQUUS is being performed through February 8, 2009.

'KEEP IT SHORT,' an evening of three short plays and a number of musical performances showcasing the talents of 11 young performers blossoming in the Big Apple, will be presented at The Cutting Room, 19 West 24th Street (between Broadway and 6th Avenue), on Monday, April 28, from 7 to 10 PM. The event is being produced by The Plastic Flamingo Theatre Company and Stiletto Project, New York-based theatre companies started by, and featuring, alumni (1997 through 2007) of the University of Miami theatre program with the mission of promoting new talent in the city.
