Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Lukas Nelson was raised on his father Willie Nelson's famed Honeysuckle Rose bus. Today, the 21-year-old Nelson is still on the road, but with his own band, Promise of the Real. The White Plains Performing Arts Center (WPPAC), in partnership with Harrison Summer Theater, has announced the New York regional premiere of the Tony Award-winning musical, Spring Awakening. The upcoming performances will be on Friday, September 16 at 8:00pm, Saturday, September 17 at 8:00pm and Sunday, September 18 at 7:00pm at WPPAC, located on the 3rd floor of the White Plains City Center (Mamaroneck Ave. and Main Street in downtown White Plains).
