La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment present the fifth and final production in its 2013-1014 season of shows with the Los Angeles regional theatre premiere of one of the most beloved musicals of all time, based on the novel by Victor Hugo, the Tony award-winning, LES MISERABLES, music by Claude-Michel Schonberg, book by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, with musical direction by John Glaudini, choreography by Dana Solimando and directed by Brian Kite.

San Francisco's elegant Four Seasons hotel, its ballroom transformed into a mesmerizing swirl of vibrant, electric colors, provided the dramatic setting for California Shakespeare Theater's 19th annual gala, Raise the Roof, on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Led by Gala Co-Chairs Jean Simpson and Maureen Knight, and Honorary Co-Chair Annette Bening, the event was the most successful in Cal Shakes history, grossing more than $688,500 and welcoming 330 attendees.

On Saturday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m., Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actress and recording artist Kristin Chenoweth returns to Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage with an all-new program entitled The Evolution of a Soprano. Directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and featuring pianist and music director Mary-Mitchell Campbell, this newly created, one-night-only engagement showcases Ms. Chenoweth performing a varied evening of music that highlights her incredible range-from works influenced by her early operatic and classical training in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to hit songs from her starring roles on Broadway and in film. In addition to popular hits and classical selections, Ms. Chenoweth will perform new works, standards, and even works popularized by amateur soprano Florence Foster Jenkins. This performance marks Ms. Chenoweth's first solo appearance at Carnegie Hall since her sold-out show in September 2004.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater announces the full company for the world-premiere historical drama Camp David, penned by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Lawrence Wright and directed by Artistic Director Molly Smith. Based on true events surrounding the 1978 Camp David Accords, the play follows the 13-day meeting between President Jimmy Carter, Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat as they attempted to create the impossible: peace in the Middle East. The production features Tony Award nominee Hallie Foote (Broadway's Dividing the Estate) as Rosalynn Carter, Egyptian actor and activist Khaled Nabawy (Kingdom of Heaven, Fair Game) as Anwar Sadat, Tony Award winner Ron Rifkin (Alias, Broadway's Cabaret) as Menachem Begin and Emmy Award winner Richard Thomas (The Waltons) as President Jimmy Carter. Camp David runs March 21-May 4, 2014 in the Kreeger Theater.
