ON THE EXHALE with Marin Ireland Starts Performances Tonight Off-Broadway

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a line-up of all new work Off-Broadway, including two Roundabout commissions by Roundabout Underground alumni Lindsey Ferrentino (Ugly Lies the Bone) and Joshua Harmon (Bad Jews, Significant Other). As part of the Underground's mission, each participating playwright receives a commission for a new play, demonstrating a level of commitment to writers' careers and the future of theatre in New York that is unparalleled.

Ars Nova and WP Theater Present SUNDOWN, YELLOW MOON

Ars Nova and WP Theater are pleased to present the world premiere of Sundown, Yellow Moon (February 28-April 1), a nighttime play, with songs, by Rachel Bonds, directed by Anne Kauffman (OBIE and Drama Desk Award winner), with songs by the indie-folk duo The Bengsons (Hundred Days) and additional lyrics by Bonds.

ON THE EXHALE with Marin Ireland Pushes Up Opening Off-Broadway

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that the world premiere of On the Exhale, by Martin Zimmerman, directed by Tony Award nominee Leigh Silverman, and starring Obie Award winner Marin Ireland, will officially open one week earlier on Sunday, February 19. This is the second play in Roundabout Underground's newly expanded two-play season.

Playwrights Horizons presents Rancho Viejo, the world premiere of a new play by Dan LeFranc (The Big Meal at Playwrights, Sixty Miles to Silver Lake, In the Labyrinth) and directed by three-time Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin (Placebo, This at Playwrights; Fool For Love; Bad Jews; 4000 Miles; [sic]). The production opened on December 6 at the company's Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street) and will play through Friday, December 23.
