Hudson Warehouse, known as 'The Other Free Shakespeare in the Park,' inaugurated its twelfth season with special guest artist, film and stage star, Steve Guttenberg, in its June production of Henry 4.1. The Warehouse continues their season in July with SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER, by Oliver Goldsmith, directed by Ian Harkins.

This past week The Public Theater celerbrated their 2015 Summer Gala, which included a special performance of the free Shakespeare in the Park production of THE TEMPEST, featuring a cast that included Sam Waterston and Jesse Tyler Ferguson and directed by Michael Greif. The summer gala also honored Bernard Spitzer (1924-2014) and Anna Spitzer for their extraordinary support over several years. The 2015 Public Theater summer gala featured appearances by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jonathan Groff, Laura Benanti, Sandra Oh, Peter Dinklage, Alan Rickman, Jane Lynch and many more.

The Creative Producer was Adam Shulman (Dukes of Hazard: The Beginning, Song One starring Anne Hathaway), host of SSC's Annual Benefit Gala and Staged Reading of at W83 (150 West 83rd Street, between Amsterdam and Columbus). Steve Guttenberg, known for his roles in 'Police Academy,' 'Cocoon' and 'Three Men and a Baby,' as well as the recent Broadway one-act play by Woody Allen, Honeymoon Hotel, will be guest starring in Hudson Warehouse's production of HENRY 4.1. Mr. Guttenberg will make his Shakespearean debut as Earl of Northumberland in The Warehouse's production at The Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, in the heart of Riverside Park this month.
