Olivier and Tony Award-winning actor, Ian McDiarmid will play MP Enoch Powell in Chris Hannan's searing play, What Shadows. Directed by Roxana Silbert (Artistic Director, Birmingham Repertory Theatre), What Shadows tells the story of Powell's explosive Rivers of Blood speech, bringing to life the community that inspired it and, 30 years later, its effects on a woman trying to make sense of her life.
The Old Vic Community Company Presents RISE on Waterloo Millennium Green

This summer The Old Vic Community Company presents RISE. 200 Londoners will take over a brand new pop-up venue on Waterloo Millennium Green to present a kaleidoscope of ideas, discussions and stories that distil into a human, personal story exploring our relationship with the environment. RISE runs 10 to 21 August, and tickets are released on 22 June.

This summer, Royal & Derngate Northampton and Hackney Empire will co-produce the world premiere of Soul, a new play by Roy Williams about the family life of soul legend Marvin Gaye. Directed by James Dacre and designed by Jon Bausor, Soul takes to Northampton's Royal stage from Friday 20 May to Saturday 11 June, before its run at Hackney Empire from Wednesday 15 June to Sunday 3 July.

First premiered by the Royal Shakespeare Company at Hampstead Theatre in 2010, this tour marks the U.S. premiere of Dunsinane after a highly successful tour to East Asia and Russia in spring 2014. Hailed by The Guardian as 'a work of compelling intelligence, provocation and wit,' Dunsinane will play at the Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) from tonight, February 4-21, 2015.

Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) welcomes the world-renowned National Theatre of Scotland and the Royal Shakespeare Company's Dunsinane-a captivating sequel to Shakespeare's Macbeth-in its US Premiere tour. Written by David Greig and directed by Roxana Silbert, this World's Stage Series presentation explores one man's attempt to restore peace in a country consumed by war following the bloody conclusion of Shakespeare's timeless drama. Dunsinane takes Scotland's real history and dramatically reimagines the chapter after Macbeth's death. These two distinguished theaters join forces to present Dunsinane at Chicago Shakespeare Theater for a limited engagement February 26 through March 22, 2015.
