Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced today the fall lineup for LookOut, the company's multi-genre performance series that launched this summer.

The Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) has announced the winners of the 2016 Princess Grace Awards.  The Annual Gala will continue the legacy of Princess Grace (Kelly) of Monaco, who helped emerging artists pursue their artistic goals during Her lifetime.  In total, the Foundation is awarding over $1 million to artists in theater, dance, and film.   In the presence of Their Serene Highnesses The Prince and The Princess of Monaco, this year's Gala will be held at Cipriani 25 Broadway on October 24, 2016.  The evening will be co-chaired by Lisa and Richard Plepler, Sidney and Katia Toledano, and Gillian Murphy and Ethan Stiefel. Major Gala supporters include: Christian Dior Couture, as Presenting Sponsor and Mrs. Lily Safra as Crown Sponsor.

Steppenwolf for Young Adults (SYA) announces the complete cast for The Burials, a world premiere by Caitlin Parrish and the first production of SYA's 2016/17 season.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced today the complete cast for Erika Sheffer's The Fundamentals, a smart and searing look at America's corporate culture through the story of a Manhattan hotel maid with higher aspirations. Directed by ensemble member Yasen Peyankov, the cast features ensemble members Alana Arenas (Millie), Caroline Neff (Stellan) and Alan Wilder (Abe) with Audrey Francis(Eliza) and Armando Riesco (Lorenzo). Peyankov and Sheffer last collaborated on Steppenwolf's 2014 Chicago premiere of Russian Transport, which also featured ensemble member Alan Wilder. The New Colony and Definition Theatre Company's runaway hit BYHALIA, MISSISSIPPI, winner of three 2016 Jeff Awards including Best New Work, returns this summer featuring the full original cast from July 22 - August 21, 2016 as part of Steppenwolf's Visiting Company Initiative at their new 1700 Theatre, 1700 N. Halsted St. in Chicago. The searing new American drama by The New Colony Co-Artistic Director Evan Linder, directed by Definition Theatre's Founding Artistic Director Tyrone Phillips, enjoyed two sold-out extensions during its world premiere last winter at The Den Theatre. Steep Theatre Company has announced the programming for its upcoming 16th season, which continues the company's tradition of presenting bold plays from today's most exciting playwrights, brought to life by fearlessly honest ensembles and visionary directors. Season 16 will feature a world premiere from Chicago playwright Alex Lubischer, a U.S. premiere from Olivier Award-winning playwright Mike Bartlett, a U.S. premiere from rising English playwright Cordelia Lynn, and a Midwest premiere from California-based playwright Lauren Yee. Celebrated actress Jessie Fisher (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre's Othello, Once on Broadway) joins ensemble member Jon Michael Hill (CBS's Elementary, Steppenwolf's Superior Donuts) in the Chicago premiere production of Constellations, the moving two-character drama by Nick Payne, directed by artistic producer Jonathan Berry to take place this summer in the Upstairs Theatre (May 26 - July 3, 2016; Press/Opening is June 1 at 7:30pm).
