BPA has formed a partnership with IslandWood to present an outdoor summertime performance. The BPA Shakespeare Society will perform The Tempest for one week in August at the Creaky Tree Meadow on the campus of IslandWood.

To accommodate extraordinary ticket demand, Lifeline Theatre will add four additional performances to the run of its family musical, The Emperor's New Threads: A Fashion Statement, based on the folktale The Emperor's New Clothes by Hans Christian Andersen. 5th Floor Productions will revive the musical Assassins for a limited run at the Hudson Guild Theatre in Chelsea. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by John Weidman, Assassins will open June 22nd for six performances through June 26th.
