The American Theatre Hall of Fame today announced the full list of 2012 inductees, which will included Broadway veterans Tyne Daly and Ben Vereen. Additional inductees will include directors Daniel Sullivan and Paul Sills, producers George White, Elliot Martin and Woodie King Jr., and costume designer Ann Roth.

There's been speculation since it opened on Broadway that the undeniable hit THE BOOK OF MORMON would be headed for a West End debut. The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye reports today that THE BOOK OF MORMON is indeed headed for London - and will move into the Prince of Wales Theatre in early 2013.

Producers Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel and INFINITY Stages announced today that Tony Award nominee KERRY BUTLER (Xanadu) has joined the cast of the 2012 Broadway revival of Gore Vidal's THE BEST MAN in the role of Mabel Cantwell, a role that Edie Adams played in the film adaptation and later by Christine Ebersole in the 2000 Broadway revival. The Original Broadway Cast Recording for THE BOOK OF MORMON was nominated for the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. The recording on Ghostlight Records made history earlier this year as the first Broadway cast recording to chart in Billboard's Top 10 since Hair in 1969 and was also cited by Billboard as the fastest selling digital cast recording release of all time. The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 12, 2012 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and broadcast on the CBS Television Network.
