Kentucky based country music duo Twang and Round will perform at The Gold Ribbon Gala on September 13th in Bowling Green, Kentucky at LaGala (601 State Street). The event will feature performances by Twang and Round, Shi'Ann Jones (NBC's The Voice), Dustin Collins, and Lydia Murphy with all proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children's Hospital.

According to Variety, Jerry Van Dyke, Emmy-nominated actor and younger brother of Dick Van Dyke, died on Friday at age 86. His wife, Shirley Ann Jones told the New York Times that his health had been deteriorating since he was in a traffic accident in 2015.

The Royal Players and Middlebrooks Electric are excited to announce the upcoming production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer the Broadway Musical, based on the novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer written by Mark Twain. Due to popular demand, a performance has been added to the regularly scheduled run of Mame. The added performance will take place on Sunday, March 19 at 7:30pm, making week two of the run a 9-performance week. Mame runs from March 7 -26, 2017 at Riverside Theatre.
