Complete casting has been announced for Manhattan Concert Productions' (MCP) 25th anniversary performances of The Secret Garden, on February 21 and February 22, 2016 at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center. The concert performances of the TONY Award-winning musical will feature a stunning Broadway and television cast, creative team, the New York City Chamber Orchestra, and a grand 200-voice chorus from across the United States.

NBC has given full-season pickups to three of its new Fall 2010-11 series, 'The Event,' 'Law & Order: Los Angeles' and 'Outsourced.' The announcement was made by Angela Bromstad, President, Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios.

The new Fall Schedule features all-drama lineups on Mondays and Wednesdays, and all comedies on Thursdays, plus unscripted programming into compatible dramas on Tuesdays and Fridays. The high-quality series include new comedies such as 'Outsourced,' Love Bites,' 'Perfect Couples,' 'Friends With Benefits' and 'The Paul Reiser Show.' The new dramas are 'The Cape,' 'Harry's Law,' 'Outlaw,' 'Undercovers,' 'The Event,' 'Chase' and 'Law & Order: Los Angeles.'

NBC has given series pickups for its 2010-11 season to the dramatic thriller 'The Event,' the comedy 'Outsourced' and the romantic anthology series 'Love Bites.'

La Jolla Playhouse has announced a two-week extension of Des McAnuff's re-imagination of the Tony Award-winning classic, The Wiz

Variety reports the casting for the upcoming La Jolla production of The Wiz, directed by Des McAnuff. The show will feature Wayne Brady (Scarecrow), David Alan Grier (the Wizard), Nikki M. James, (Dorothy), Tituss Burgess (the Lion) and Michael Benjamin Washington (Tin Man).

Donna English, Jenny Fellner and Tom Hewitt will be featured in a March 9th private industry reading of Matthew Wilder and David Zippel's Princesses

Featured Broadway performers include CHRISTOPHER SIEBER (Monty Python's Spamalot/ABC-TV's It's All Relative) ANDREA MCARDLE (original Annie/Les Miserables), STEPHEN BOGARDUS (Falsettos/Tony nominee for Love!Valour!Compassion), and BROOKE TANSLEY (currently starring as Belle in Disney's Beauty and the Beast). Featured Club performers include Dance Diva MARTHA WASH (It's Raining Men) Robbins recording artist and club circuit favorite REINA, and former Broadway diva (co-star of film version Little Shop of Horrors) and current Dance hit recording artist MICHELLE WEEKS.

The stately Samuel Tilden Mansion on Gramercy Park, home to The National Arts Club (NAC) was the setting for an elegant soiree for the committee, sponsors and friends of the upcoming Stella by Starlight Gala to benefit the scholarship and outreach programs of The Stella Adler Studio of Acting. The Gala will be held at The Pierre Hotel, November 8.

The stars were out to celebrate the opening night of Bombay Dreams and BroadwayWorld was there to cover the red carpet, and the party.
